MARS Komagatake IPA Cask Finish

Description

Mars Komagatake is a Single Malt from the Mars Shinshu distillery, located in the Nagano region, at the heart of the Japanese Alps. This expression is aged in the Shinshu warehouse, at 800 meters above sea level. 

Minami Shinshu Brewery crafts beer right next to our distillery, actively using locally sourced ingredients to make delicious brews. This time our experiment is introducing their used beer casks (India Pale Ale) to our whisky’s finish, adding a unique flavor.
Fresh and citrusy. Malt, citrus, beer, vanilla.
